The road less traveled: though it will have its lonely moments, at least my thoughts will keep me company.
“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” – Mark 8:36
There are two roads that appear before you at many points in life. One road contains values that speak of integrity, truthfulness and other righteous things. The other road appears attractive to the common individual who is lured by its irresistible prospects. The person succumbing to his temptation traverses through the latter and loses himself in the path.
Guided by his temptation, the man, quite unaware of the the grim reality that he is about to face, enjoys the immediate benefits that gives him the world’s pleasure and realises his mistake and discovers, to his utter dismay that it is a little too late.
One must not fall prey to one’s temptation.
